What it does

Wegent provides an open-source AI-native operating system to define, organize, and run intelligent agent teams for building AI-powered tools

Install / run
git clone https://github.com/wecode-ai/Wegent.git
When to use it
  • •When you need to deploy multiple AI models as a team to solve complex problems
  • •When you require a flexible and customizable framework for AI agent development
  • •When you want to integrate AI capabilities into your existing applications and systems
Quick start
  1. 1Modify the `config.yaml` file to define your agent teams and their behaviors
  2. 2Run `python -m wegent.start` to start the Wegent OS and load your agent teams
  3. 3Use the `wegent CLI` to interact with and manage your agent teams, such as `wegent agents list` to view available agents
  4. 4Create a new agent team by running `wegent teams create --name my_team` and specifying the agent definitions in the `config.yaml` file
  5. 5Test your agent team by running `wegent teams run --name my_team` and verifying the output
Ready-to-paste prompt
Run `wegent agents start --name my_agent --config config.yaml` to start an agent instance with a custom configuration
Heads up: Ensure you have Python 3.8 or later installed, as Wegent is not compatible with earlier versions of Python
